I painted this in April of 2022.  It wasn't something I planned on painting. I was working on an abstract and I saw figures starting to take shape.  Eventually, I saw a white buffalo behind them.  It just sort of appeared. I never posted this painting because , Although I'm living in the Southwest, I'm not normally  a painter of western things. Coincidently,  I recently came across an article about a white buffalo calf that was born in Kansas in April 2024
